Privacy

The short version

We receive personal data in two ways: what you choose to send us by email, and, only if you accept it, anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics. Nothing is set on your device until you say yes.

Who is responsible

Hybrid Labs AB (org. no. 559519-9059), Hamngränd 6, SE-721 30 Västerås, Sweden, is the data controller for personal data processed through ventee.co. You can reach us at privacy@ventee.co.

What we process, and why

Email. If you write to us, we process your name, email address and whatever you include in the message in order to reply and to follow up on your request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), or, where the contact leads to an agreement, the steps needed to enter into it (Article 6(1)(b)).

Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser type and time of access in order to deliver the site securely and detect abuse. Logs are kept for a short period and are not used to identify individual visitors. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure service (Article 6(1)(f)).

Analytics. With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from, and what device and browser they use. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device and processes a truncated IP address together with a random identifier. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you give or refuse in the bar shown on your first visit. Declining has no effect on how the site works.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

How long we keep it

Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed to handle your request and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless a longer period is required by law, for instance for accounting purposes. Server logs are deleted automatically by our hosting provider, typically within 30 days.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to tell returning visitors apart. Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage and never sent to us. You can change it at any time:

Who we share it with

The providers we need to run the site and our email, acting on our instructions under data processing agreements, and Google Ireland Limited for analytics. Google may transfer analytics data to the United States; those transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@ventee.co.

If you believe we are handling your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) at imy.se, or with the supervisory authority in the country where you live.

Changes

If we change how this site handles personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
